「何でも できる」という可能性。
先日、Eテレ「ハートネットTV」で
大分県に暮らす
河津実幸(まみ)さん（27歳・先天性筋ジストロフィー）の
作品「お願い」が紹介されました。
「お願い」
「ねがえりをして」
「おこして」
「手を前にやって」
「おしりひっぱって」
「足をひっぱって」
「トイレにつれて行って」
お願いばかり
そのくりかえし
だけど・・・
お願いしないとなにもできない私
お願いすることができた
私にできること
お願いすること
そして
感謝すること
自力ではほとんど体を動かせない実幸さん。
お願いしなければ何もできない―
それでも将来の夢を描こう、と歩み続ける自分の思いを詩につづった。

小学生高学年になった頃、
同級生に心無い一言
「16になったら、死ぬんだってなっ」
まみさんは、
傷つき、生きるのが辛くなりました。
当時の担任の先生からの指導で・・。
まみさんに、何でもして あげる ということは、
「当たり前のことなんだぞ」
「鉛筆落としたから、ちょっと拾ってあげると、同じことで、当たりまえのことなんだ」
そして、実幸さんには、友だちに
してもらったときくらいは、ちゃんと「ありがとう」を言ってあげなさいと。
でも、なかなか子どもたちには、理解されず、、
実幸さんが「怠けている」ように思われていた・・
変わったのは、
ある時、子どもたちだけで、別の学校（だったかな!?）行かなくちゃ行けなくなった時。
同級生たちは、
実幸さんを助けてあげられるのは、「自分たちしかいないんだ」と気づいた。
初めて、自分たちで考えていった。
これは本当に、実幸さんを想っての行動に出たのだと思います。
その頃から、周りの友だちも実幸さんも変わっていったそうです。
実幸さんは、「自分の人生は長くない」ということも知っており、小学生のころから、
「生き死に」に向かい合っている。
そのことも、クラスのみんなが感じて、思いやり、
「当たり前」にしてあげることができるようになった。
そして、実幸さんも、前向きに明るく生きていくようになった。
今でも、やりたいことは、なんでも挑戦しつづけている様子が、映し出されていました。
自分で、描いた絵の載せたカレンダーを毎年販売。
売上金を、主治医の行っている海外支援へ寄付。
そして、そして
取材で出会った新聞記者の男性と結婚の約束をしている場面も！
映っていました！！
ビックリしました。

いろいろと、地道に続けてきておられました。
ビックリです。
「出来ない」ことで、嘆いていたら、きっと周りも変わらなかったのでしょうね。
「お願い」といい、感謝をしていったから、みんなが笑顔になったのでしょう。
