なっこに「障がい」があると分かったとき・・・の私の気持ち・・
どう考え、どう受け入れることができたか？
何度か、書いたけれど、
正確に表現するのはなかなかうまく出来ていない。
実を言うと
ずっと、知的にも遅れがあると、薄々わかっていたけれど、
「自閉症」ということは、受け入れられても、
「知的障がい」ということは、受け入れられなかった。
【知的障害】とは・・・？ （ネットから引用）
《「知的発達障害」の略》
知能を中心とする精神の発達が幼少期から遅れていて、
社会生活への適応が困難な状態。
ふつう知能指数（IQ）を基準に使い、軽度・中等度・重度・最重度に分けられる。
以前は精神薄弱といわれたもので、この言葉が差別感を生む語感があるところから、1970年代になって精神遅滞という名称が用いられた。
平成11年（1999）から、法令上は「知的障害」という用語に統一された。
幼い頃に「自閉症」と診断を受けたあと
発達の様子で、診断名が変わる事がある。
知的な遅れのある（知的障がいを伴う自閉症）と、
知的に遅れはなく、コミュケーション障害は残る（高機能自閉症）
ADHDやＬＤとなるケースがある。
なっこ
２才で「自閉症」と診断を受けた時点では、
意味のあることばはしゃべっていなかったが、
発音は明瞭だったし、英単語も数字も言えたし、たくさんのものの名前を知っていたので、
「「高機能自閉症」まで、成長するかもしれませんね。」
と言われていた。
子どもの成長がよく できることが増えれば、「優越感」を覚え、
そうでなければ、「劣等感」を抱く。
親というものは、そういった思いに 駆られることが まま あると思います。
ずんずん成長して欲しい 願望と、
元々私の中にあった 少なからずも 知的障がいを否定する気持ちが 同時に現れたような気がします。
親になったと同時に、
我が子と、他人の子どもと『比べる』という作業をしてしまいます。
優劣をはかる
優越感に浸ったり、
勝手に、悲しみ 傷つき、劣等感を抱く。。
まま あることかもしれません。
なっこについては、
何事も、同い年の子どもさんより 劣っている。
後から生まれた赤ちゃんがどんどん成長していく中、
なっこの成長は目に見えない。
仕方がないと、頭では 分かっていても、
集まりや行事ごとのたびに、
『比べる』 を繰り返していました。
年月がたって、「諦め」というと 語弊がありますが
否が応でも、事実を受け入れるしかない という一面もあるように思いますが、
人より能力が低いということは、どういうことなのか？
その答えを、
私の腑に落ちるように、
納得する考え方を探る作業を
その年月で、続けてきました。
ごく最近になって、
出来不出来で、優劣は決まっても、
同じように、
人の価値まで、決まっていくものではない
そう感じることができるようになってきたと思います。
ひとりひとりの価値は、同じだな と思えるようになってきました。
「できる、出来ない」
凹凸があって
「出来ないところは、誰かにしてもらう」
それで、いいんじゃない？
お米がないと困るけれど、
お米を作ってくれる人がいて
お米を売ってくれる人がいて
買う私がいる。
何もかも作ってもらっている
水道の水だって
電気だって
衣服だって
道路だって、
船だって
身の回りのもの、全て誰かのお世話になって 助けられて生きている
してもらう人がいて
してあげる人がいる。
どちらが、凹でも凸でもいい。
その人の出来ない事を してあげて 役に立った人。
人が役にたったのは、人が存在したから・・。
人は、存在するだけで、
充分 価値あることなのだ。
なっこがなっこで
生まれた意味は、
そういった事を 考えさせるため なのかもしれない。

環境も悩みもひとそれぞれちがうから あれだけれども
言葉にすくわれます。
過去も今も未来も つきることのない悩みだから
はーみさんの言葉に癒されます
面と向かっては言えないし、いうつもりもあまりなかったけれど
